I've always loved to write.
I loved it so much that long before project plans and delivery timelines, I studied journalism. Something about taking pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) soothes me. In many ways, it's how I make sense of the world and process things. It's how I find my voice.
Somewhere along the way, I ended up in tech. And don't get me wrong, even with all the what if's, I genuinely love being in tech.
And while there's nothing more that I love than a perfectly executed project plan (even if it sometimes feels like a pipe dream), the instinct and call to write, observe, and articulate never really left. If anything, it got sharper.
Because the truth is, I have a lot of opinions.
About how projects are run.
About how decisions are made.
About the dynamics that shape who gets heard and who doesn't.
(My family will tell you the same thing.)
So this is, in many ways, me finally giving that voice a place to live.
Not as a polished platform, but as an open space.
A place to think out loud, to question what we take for granted, and to talk more honestly about the work we do.
Some days, I might be right. Some days, I might be wrong. Some days, I might change my mind.
But that's the point.
To keep learning, to keep refining how we see things.
To grow into better questions, not just stronger opinions.
And hopefully, to create a space where others can do the same.
